Sid Baar, Founder of Say Hey Studio

Sid Baar (they/them) is a queer project manager, business owner, and artist originally from the Maritimes. Passionate about accessible and inclusive design, they strive to help brands simplify complex marketing and design problems. Their 10 years of experience in the marketing industry has instilled big-picture, strategic thinking while honouring the details. Their biz, Say Hey Studio is a creative design agency that helps brands tell stories through bold visuals and thoughtful design.

In their spare time, they’re camping with their dog Teddy, reading multiple books at once and finding ways to connect with their community. Sid lives and works on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka, a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst many First Nations including the Kanien’kehá:ka of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg.
