Brand building isn’t everything you see on Emily in Paris

In this episode of Magic Hour Podcast, Hope sits down with brand powerhouse Amy Liu to explore the reality of building brands in the beverage alcohol industry. From her creative work on White Claw Vodka to her journey navigating the switch between agency life and in-house brand management, Amy reveals the challenges and rewards of both sides of the marketing world.

Together, they unpack what it really takes to bring a brand to life, the balance between glamorous campaigns and the less-seen hard work, and why continuous growth—like pursuing an Masters of Business Administration—keeps her ahead of the curve. Plus, Amy shares her mentorship tips and what the day-to-day of a brand manager actually looks like.

Tune in for an authentic look behind the scenes of brand building, mentorship, and the power of embracing the creative grind.
